Fenn attended the UCLA School of Dentistry and immediately upon graduating
brought his wife, Marlene, and young family to Poway where he had
acquired a small family dental practice. His four children grew up
and attended school here and three have now married and given him
and Marlene ten wonderful grandchildren. From the beginning his passion
has been to stay current with the ever changing profession of dentistry.
As dental materials and techniques advanced and as new and exciting
technology became available, Dr. Fenn sought out the very best in
continuing education courses to help him stay abreast of the new developments.
This culminated with his recent graduation from the world renowned
Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, the premier source
of advanced training in Neuromuscular and Cosmetic Dentistry. Combined
with his years of experience, this training qualifies Dr. Fenn to
provide to his patients the very best treatment available, which he
strives to deliver always with gentleness and comfort. After 35 plus
years in practice he enjoys dentistry more than ever and looks forward
to many more years of service to the community.
 llison has been an integral
part of our dental team since August 2003. She began as Lead Assistant
to Dr. Fenn, served as our Front Desk Coordinator for over a year
and became our Office Manager in January 2009, replacing Clydene,
who held the position for many years until she went into semi-retirement.
Allison is multi-skilled in all areas of dentistry. She has a broad
knowledge and actual working experience in all clinical procedures.
She is very efficient at coordinating the front and back office on
a daily basis. She assists patients with their scheduling needs, explains
treatment plans and answers insurance coverage/benefit questions.
She is also competent in presenting convenient financial plan options
to our patients. Allison attends continuing education courses as well
as internet studies to stay informed of all the latest advances in
dentistry. Even with a very busy family schedule, Allison manages
to arrive at the office bright and early each morning with a smile
on her face, ready to serve the dental needs of our patients.
ebbie joined our professional team as an experienced dental hygienist in 1984. She earned her degree in dental hygiene from Cerritos College and has continued her education through attending various dental hygiene courses and seminars over the years. She also keeps abreast of advances in dental technology by reading the latest dental magazines and articles. Debbie is conscientious and highly skilled at performing continuing care as well as more comprehensive periodontal procedures. Her gentle mannerisms and quiet nature puts our patients at ease. Debbie’s daughter is a student at San Diego State University where she is preparing for nursing school. Debbie and Danielle live in beautiful Coronado where they enjoy the close proximity to the ocean and the sea breezes as well as the uniqueness of the island.
 araLyn first came to our office to help out when we were short handed. We wanted her to become a permanent member of our team because of her clinical expertise and outgoing personality. In May, 2003, it finally came to fruition and she became an official team member. KaraLyn attended Northwestern University where she earned her dental hygiene degree. She has attended many continuing education classes over the years to stay informed and up to date with new advances and technology in dentistry. She and her husband have three lovely daughters, two of which keep blessing her with beautiful grandchildren. Her younger daughter attends BYU Idaho, majoring in nursing. KaraLyn is very involved with her family and in church activities. Her hobbies include interior design, gardening, quilting and scrapbooking. She is also an expert seamstress and enjoys designing lovely dresses and adorable clothing for her grandchildren.
awn became a welcome addition to our office team in November 2009. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience from her many years in the dental field. Our patients find her to be a warm, caring and compassionate person with a gentle way of calming those who are anxious or fearful. She has extensive experience in many areas of dentistry and is able, not only to assist Dr. Fenn chairside, but also to help out in the front office when needed. Dawn earned her Registered Dental Assistant License in 1987 and her Associates Degree in General Sciences at Grossmont/Cuyamaca College in December, 2008. She has also worked as an instructor in a dental assisting school. She is currently studying and working toward a nursing degree. Dawn resides in El Cajon with her husband, son, daughter and precious grandson. Her most joyous moments are when she spends time with her family, takes trips to the beach, watches the sunset and last, but not least, participates with her son in a bowling league.
 ictoria joined our team as a dental assistant shortly after graduating from Palomar College Dental Assistant Program. She is native Californian, but spent several of her growing-up years in Novi, Michigan. She has a radiant smile and easy-going, sweet personality that is reassuring to our patients as she gets to know them and during dental treatment. Victoria has learned many high-tech procedures since becoming a team member in October 2008. She recently enrolled at Palomar College to complete the required prerequisites in preparation to apply to dental hygiene school in Riverside County. She lives in San Marcos with an older sister where she enjoys participating in co-ed softball. She enjoys attending sporting events, but is mainly a fan of baseball and football. Victoria also loves to play "fetch and catch" with her sweet cat, Dozer.
 lydene joined the practice in 1981 as an experienced receptionist and dental assistant. She graduated from UCLA Dental Assistant School and over the years attended many dental related continuing education classes and seminars which included classes at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. Clydene was our Office Manager for many years, but after more than 28 years of dedicated service to our patients, she decided to semi-retire to allow more time to spend with grandchildren, family history research, sorting through old family photos and putting them on CD's and to just enjoy the time off. She happily handed the mantle of Office Manager over to Allison, knowing she will bring new enthusiasm and positive change to the office. Clydene is still in our employ and performs office business duties by working on Fridays.
